Fuels for the Future
Net Zero needs
green fuels
Transportation accounts for a fifth of the global carbon dioxide emissions globally each year. As we work towards Net Zero, we must transition to the next generation of carbon-free fuels: Green hydrogen and green ammonia.
Our technology lends itself perfectly to the creation of both these green fuels. The electricity it produces can be used to electrolyse river water to produce green hydrogen, which can then be converted to green ammonia.
When produced by renewable energy sources, hydrogen is a zero-emission fuel source capable of providing a scalable, sustainable solution for our future energy needs.
Green ammonia provides an immediate carbon-free alternative for energy-storage and the fuels powering heavy industry and transportation.
International shipping is responsible for 90% of world trade. To support the industry in decarbonisation, it's predicted that green ammonia will make up 25% of the maritime fuel mix by 2025.
