Green hydrogen will play a critical role in power storage and grid balancing as we head towards 2050, offering a solution to one of the major challenges of incumbent renewable energy technologies: intermittency. Hydrogen can be generated during periods of excess electricity generation, stored and converted back into electricity during times of low generation - ensuring grid stability.
